Full Electrical Build-Out for a New Wood Shop Shed

A new shed is only as useful as the power behind it. This customer needed a fully wired wood shop - not just a basic outlet or two, but a real setup that could handle lighting, switches, and actual shop work. That's exactly what we built.

We ran a dedicated sub-panel inside the shed, giving this space its own breaker box to handle the electrical load properly. Multiple circuits, recessed lighting throughout the interior, and outlets positioned right where they're needed along the workbench wall. Nothing thrown together - everything planned out so the space actually functions as a workshop.

Outside, we mounted a multi-head LED flood light on the front of the shed and installed a weatherproof outlet box on the exterior sidewall. So whether you're hauling in materials after dark or need to plug something in outside, the power is there. Inside and out, this shed is ready to go.

A multi-switch panel was installed right at the entry point so you can control the lights the second you walk in. Simple, practical, and exactly how a working shop should be set up. That's the kind of detail that makes a space easier to use every single day.
