Hot Tub Electrical Install Done Right From the Ground Up

A hot tub sitting on a deck is the easy part to see. What you don't see is everything that had to happen behind the walls and under the floor to make it safe and code-compliant. That's where we came in.

This was a full hot tub electrical install - running a dedicated circuit from the panel, routing wiring through the basement, and making sure every connection met code. Hot tubs pull serious amperage. They need their own circuit, proper wire gauge, a GFCI disconnect, and a panel that can handle the load. No shortcuts.

We routed the wiring through the basement ceiling, keeping it organized and secured along the joist bays. A subpanel was set up to handle the load cleanly. Smoke detector placement, wire management, the whole setup was done with the long game in mind - not just getting it to turn on today.
