This is what a kitchen remodel actually looks like before things get pretty. Walls opened up, old materials stripped back, and the space laid bare. It's not glamorous, but this is the phase that matters most - and it's where we do some of our most important work.

When a kitchen gets torn down to the studs, it's the best opportunity to get the electrical right. Old wiring, undersized circuits, outlets in the wrong places - these are problems that get hidden the moment drywall goes back up. We're in here now, positioning boxes, running new wire, and making sure every circuit is exactly where it needs to be before that window closes.

A kitchen puts more demand on electrical than almost any other room in a house. Refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, countertop appliances - they all need dedicated circuits and properly placed outlets. If the rough-in isn't done right, you end up with a finished kitchen that trips breakers or forces you to run extension cords. We're planning ahead so that doesn't happen here.

Next up is a service upgrade, which will give this home the capacity it needs to handle a modern kitchen without taxing the panel. That step has to happen in the right order - and that's exactly how we're approaching it. Each phase sets up the next one. Stay tuned, because the finishing touches are coming.
