When a space is mid-remodel, the electrical work has to keep pace with everything else happening around it. That's exactly what we were dealing with here - offices and a waiting area that needed new lighting installed so the rest of the remodel could move forward without hitting a wall.
We went with recessed LED panel lights throughout the space. Clean, flat profile, bright even output across the whole room. No harsh shadows, no flickering tubes - just solid, consistent light that works for a professional environment. That kind of lighting matters more than people realize. It affects how a space feels the moment someone walks in, whether that's an employee starting their day or a client sitting in a waiting area.
The controls got attention too. A standard single-pole switch in one area, and a dimmer-style control in another - giving whoever uses the space some flexibility depending on need. That's something we think about on commercial jobs. Not every room operates the same way, and the lighting controls should reflect that.
Getting the electrical right during a remodel is one of those things that's easy to overlook until it causes a delay. We make it a point to coordinate with whatever else is happening on-site so our work doesn't hold anyone up. The new fixtures were up and live, ready for the finishing touches the rest of the crew needed to complete their work. That's how a good commercial remodel runs.
